The former rendezvous site of the Huining Red Army is a revolutionary site expanded to commemorate the victorious rendezvous of the First, Second and Fourth Front Armies of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. It has been listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit, the first batch of one hundred patriotism education demonstration bases in the country, and a national security education base and national defense education base.

The former site of the Long March rendezvous of the Red Army is located in Xiguan, the county seat of Huining County. In October 1936, the First, Second and Fourth Front Armies of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army met in Huining, marking the victory of the Long March and a turning point for the victory of the Chinese revolution.
