Shaxi Ancient Town is located in the southwest of Jianchuan, between Dali Scenic Area and Lijiang Ancient City. 1. There are many inns in Shaxi Ancient Town. Most of the inns are renovated from local traditional houses. Most of them have a good environment and are relatively quiet and comfortable.
2. Special activities: "Prince Meeting" on the eighth day of the second lunar month, "Shibaoshan Song Festival" on the 27th day of the seventh lunar month to the first day of August, the first to the fifteenth day of the Spring Festival, and from June to August "The main meeting" between them.

How to get there:
Bus route: First take the shuttle bus to Jianchuan County at Xiaguan North Passenger Transport Station in Dali City (1 hour), or you can take the shuttle bus to Jianchuan County at Lijiang Passenger Transport Station (1 hour); after arriving in Jianchuan County, Transfer to rural passenger transport to Shaxi, which takes about 40 minutes.
Self-driving route: Starting from Dali, follow Xiangyun Road to the northeast and enter the Dali Expressway, drive north for about 119 kilometers, get off the expressway and turn to the ramp to the southwest. Follow the G214 highway via S311 and enter the X084 road and drive about 19 kilometers to arrive.

Ticket prices for Shaxi Ancient Town:
The ancient town is open to the public for free.
The adult ticket for attractions is 50 yuan, including Hongjing Museum of History, Yahang, Tang Dynasty Research Institute, Cultural and History Museum, and Comic Book Museum; half ticket for students and senior citizens aged 60-69 with valid ID; children under 1.4 meters, Seniors over 70 years old are free of charge with valid ID.
