Scenic spot introduction:

The full name of the Statue of Liberty is the "Bronze Statue of Liberty National Monument", and its official name is "The Statue of Liberty Lighting the World". It is known as the "Symbol of the United States" and has been included in the World Heritage List. This tall sculpture was a 100th anniversary gift from France to the United States in 1886. It is located on Liberty Island near New York City, New York, USA. It was created by the French sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. This masterpiece was completed on May 21, 1884 and later completed on October 28, 1886. It is a symbol of friendship between the American nation and the people of the United States and France, and expresses the lofty ideals of the American people for democracy and freedom.
The Statue of Liberty in the United States is modeled after the Statue of Liberty in Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, France. The appearance design of the goddess comes from the sculptor's mother, and the right hand of the goddess holding the torch is modeled on the arm of the sculptor's wife, holding the symbol high. The torch of freedom holds the "Declaration of Independence" engraved on July 4, 1776 in his left hand, and at his feet are broken handcuffs, shackles and chains. The Statue of Liberty wears ancient Greek-style clothing and wears a crown with seven pointed rays symbolizing the seven continents and four oceans of the world. The statue's wrought-iron interior was designed by Gustave Eiffel, who later built the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Today, when a ship sails into Upper New York Bay, the first thing you see is this huge statue. At this time, some tourists waved to her, and some took photos of her. Especially at night, the lights in the torch are bright, and the searchlights from the island ground to the Colossus make the Statue of Liberty clearer and more spectacular. Similarly, when a seagoing ship leaves the urban dock, it must pass beside her. At this time, although it is far away from the statue, it is still vaguely visible due to the tall base of the statue. Some of the tourists waved to her, while others shouted "goodbye" to her. There is no doubt that the Statue of Liberty has become a major attraction for ships entering and leaving New York Harbor.

Attractions distribution:

The Statue of Liberty is 46 meters high, 93 meters tall with the base, and weighs 225 tons (490,000 pounds). There are spiral stairs and elevators inside for tourists to climb up and enjoy the scenery. The base was built with $100,000 raised by the famous Joseph Pulitzer and has now become the Museum of American Immigration History. The base is engraved with a popular poem "The New Giant" by American poet Emma Lazarus. The entire bronze statue uses 120 tons of steel as the skeleton, 80 tons of copper sheets as the outer skin, and is assembled and fixed on the bracket with 300,000 rivets. When night falls, the light from the base of the statue shines upward, illuminating the goddess like a light blue jade sculpture with a graceful posture.
