Scenic spot introduction:

Baiyanggou is located in the mountainous area at the northern foot of Kalawucheng Mountain in the Tianshan Mountains south of Urumqi, Xinjiang. It has towering snow peaks, undulating mountains, lush forests, flowers and grass everywhere, gurgling water springs, and charming scenery. The most famous of them is Xibaiyanggou. It is the collective name of dozens of large and small valleys distributed in parallel from west to east. It is not only an excellent natural pasture, but also a summer resort. People often refer to this place as Nanshan Pasture.

Attractions distribution:

Baiyanggou is a valley-shaped transition zone in the "Kalawucheng Mountain" branch of the Tianshan Mountains. It is named after the large tracts of poplar trees growing in the valley. Nanshan Pasture is very large and can be divided into West Baiyanggou, Juhuatai, East Baiyanggou, Zhaobishan, Miaoergou and Daxigou from west to east.

How to get there:

There is a shuttle bus from the main entrance of People's Park in Urumqi to Xibaiyanggou every day, and you can go back and forth on the same day. It is best to wait at the shuttle bus location before 8:30 in the morning.

There is a unified admission fee of 20 yuan to enter the Nanshan Scenic Area. There are many self-paid items in the scenic area, such as horse riding for 40 yuan per hour per person, and visiting a Kazakh yurt for 20 yuan per person.
