How to get there:
1. Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport, about 35 kilometers away from Hanoi City, is the second largest airport in Vietnam. From the airport, you can take a taxi, Minibus or bus to the city.
2. Hanoi Railway Station, located about 1 km west of Hoan Kiem Lake, is the terminal station for most trains in Vietnam. Most of the trains here go to the south and can reach Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and other places. Most of the staff at the ticket window of Hanoi Railway Station do not understand English. Only one window for foreign tourists can provide English services, so there are often long queues here. If you want to book train tickets in Vietnam, in addition to going to buy tickets in advance, another way is to book tickets through a travel agency.

Temple of Literature: Opening hours: 8:00-17:00, tickets: 12,000 dong
Tran Quoc Temple: tickets are 5,000 dong
Tickets for the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s Former Residence: 15,000 dong in total, open Time: 8:00-11:00, 14:00-16:00 Closed in the afternoon on Mondays and Fridays
Hanoi History Museum: Tickets are VND 20,000

Ho Chi Minh Memorial Hall: April 1st - October 30th, 7:30-10:30 (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 7:30-11:00)
November 1st - March of the following year 8:00-11:00 on the 31st (8:00-11:30 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays).

Shopping: There are two markets in Hanoi, one is Dong Xuan Market in the center of the old city, and the other is Hom Market at the corner of 81 Pho Hue and Tran Xuan Soan. Hanoi's main business districts are located near Trang Tien Street and Hoan Kiem Lake in the South District.
Thirty-six Ancient Streets: Hanoi’s Old Town is composed of thirty-six small commercial streets with different divisions of labor. You can find many things worth buying here.
Book Import and Export Company: Located at No. 32 Madam Erzheng Street, you can buy Vietnamese paintings and lacquerware.
Ba Cha porcelain: Ba Cha is Jingdezhen in Vietnam, about 7 kilometers away from Hanoi. It costs 50,000 dong to take a motorcycle there.
Food: Vietnamese rice noodles, French bread, delicious and cheap coffee and freshly squeezed juice.
