Introduction to Water Puppetry: Water Puppetry is a unique performing art in Hanoi. The stage is set on the water and the performers stand in the water to control it. During the festival, there are performances by Hoan Kiem Lake. The KimDong Theater located at No. 57 Tien Hoang Street has daily performances. The plays are generally based on segments of Vietnamese people's daily life, especially fishing, rice transplanting and other water-related activities. Admission is $2, plus $4 for a tape, and $1 for photos.
