Viewing: The best viewing platform in Wellington is located on the top of the 196-meter-high Victoria Peak (MtVictoria) east of the city center. From here, you can have an unobstructed view of the harbor and nearby areas. You can take bus No. 20 (Monday to Friday) to reach the top of the mountain.

Accommodation; living in Wellington city is much more expensive than living in surrounding cities. The prices are generally: economy – double room (with or without bathroom) price is less than $1OO; mid-range – double room (with bathroom) price $101 to $200; premium – priced over $201.

Wellington's four main areas - Courtenay, Cuba, Willis and Lambton are all great places for shopping and entertainment in the city. The Lambton area has the best shopping supermarkets; the Willis area brings together local and national brand-name products; if you want to buy some fashion products, you can go to the Cuba District; tourists who like food and atmosphere can go to the Courtney District. There are a variety of restaurants and bars here, with plenty of choice.

How to get there:

Aircraft: Wellington International Airport is one of New Zealand's three major international airports, located on the Miramar Peninsula. There are currently no direct flights from mainland China to Wellington. You can transfer via Hong Kong or Australia; there are domestic flights between Wellington and Auckland and Christchurch.

It takes more than 20 minutes to take a bus or taxi from the airport to the city center. The airport also has trains and long-distance buses to Auckland, as well as a ferry to Picton on the South Island, which takes 3.5 hours. There is a shuttle bus every 20 minutes between Bunny Street near Wellington Station and the Airport Domestic Terminal Building, and the journey takes about 30 minutes.

Ferry: From many cities in New Zealand you can take a boat to Wellington Harbor or sail in Marlborough Bay.

Taxi: Taxis cannot be hailed on the street. You can wait at the taxi station or call in advance.

Bus: The frequent and efficient Stagecoach shuttle bus covers almost all suburban routes from 7 am to 11:30 pm. Most starting points are at the transfer station at Langton Quay, or at the bus terminal near Cambridge Tce. Color-coded bus route maps and timetables are very useful and can be obtained at the information center and various convenience stores in the city.
