Shengmeijian was originally called Tianding Peak. It was renamed Shengmingjian in memory of Wang Shipeng, the patriotic champion of the Southern Song Dynasty, who studied hard at Miaoyou Temple on this mountain. Located in the northeast of Meiyuan Village, Oubei Town, Yongjia County, with an altitude of 526 meters, the former "Miaoyou Temple" has now been replaced by a brand-new "Sanbao Hall" with red walls and glazed tile structure. This was once the famous "Shengmei Temple" The place where the "Battle of Shengmeijian" took place.
