Scenic spot introduction:

Tianshang Temple in Wuyishan is the largest Mazu temple in northern Fujian. It is located in the south of Jiuqu River and Huanghualing in Xingcun Town, a scenic spot in Wuyishan. Xingcun is the source of Jiuqu River and is the embodiment of the stars above the nine heavens. Therefore, the Mazu temple built in Xingcun is considered to be Mazu's palace in the sky and is called the "Celestial Palace". It was first built in the 39th year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1700) and completed in the 48th year of Kangxi reign. It was built with funds raised by the Hakka people in western Fujian. Since most of them came from Tingzhou in western Fujian, Tianshang Palace was also called "Tingzhou Guild Hall". The brick carvings on the forehead of the Tianshang Palace are extremely exquisite, simple and elegant. The top of the temple door is engraved with the three characters "Heavenly Palace", and the name on the forehead is engraved with the pattern of "Yin Yang Tai Chi". The entire palace and temple are uniquely designed as a boat-shaped building, which means Mazu sits on a boat and walks on the Jiuqu River to protect the boats on the stream. Safety.
