Xiamen Ancient Culture and Art Museum is the largest ancient jade-themed art museum in Asia. It is also the art museum closest to the sea and with the most beautiful scenery. The museum has a rich collection, including more than 2,000 pieces of ancient jade dating from 6,000 to 3,000 years ago. The artifacts in the collection are mainly jade and stoneware from the Sanxingdui Culture, Hongshan Culture, Liangzhu Culture, and Qijia Culture. The museum is a window for exploring history and interpreting ancient culture.

The exhibition hall is divided into four exhibition halls, and the exhibits are mainly jade treasures from the Neolithic Age to the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties for thousands of years. The first exhibition hall, Yu Yun Shan Hui, mainly displays ancient jade artworks representing Chinese civilization. The second exhibition hall is a perfect place to display exquisite sculptures that carry the myths, thoughts and wisdom of ancient ancestors. The third exhibition hall, Etiquette Prosperates the Nation, uses a combination of jade ritual vessels to reproduce the overview of ancient ritual systems. The fourth exhibition hall is about ancient splendor, showing the development level of ancient civilization and the level of jade craftsmanship through magnificent and exquisite art treasures.
