Xiamen Dadeng Island Battlefield Sightseeing Park has the theme of reunifying the motherland and battlefield sightseeing as its content. It is currently the only scenic spot in China facing Kinmen. Dadeng Island, known as the "Three Heroic Islands", is the site of the important historical event "August 23" bombardment of Kinmen. The construction of the battlefield sightseeing park plans to integrate many historical monuments into one and display them to tourists, which is an important part of integrating patriotism education.
