Scenic spot introduction:

The former site of the Xi'an Incident is the Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall. It is the place where the Xi'an Incident, a historical event that shocked China, took place. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit. The old site is divided into three museum sites, with more than 200 historical photos, more than 30 precious cultural relics, and more than 20 historical documents on display. Among them, Zhang Xueliang's Mansion and Yang Hucheng Zhiyuan Villa are larger in size. The historical materials of the Guanxi'an Incident displayed in the memorial hall once again remind the world to cherish today's peaceful life.

Attractions distribution:

The old sites of the Xi'an Incident are mainly concentrated on Qingnian Road and Jianguo Road in the central area of the city, and another one is located in Huaqing Pool. The old site is divided into three parts: Zhang Xueliang's Mansion, General Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall and Wujian Hall, including Xi'an Incident Headquarters, Xincheng Huanglou, Zhiyuan, Gao Guizi Mansion, Xijing Guest House, Huaqing Pool Wujian Hall, and Soldier Admonition Pavilion. The main attractions include the residence of the CCP representatives, the Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall, the conference room, the former site of the Xi'an Eighth Route Army Office, Yang Hucheng Villa, etc. In each museum site, "Exhibition of the Life of General Zhang Xueliang", "Exhibition of the Life of General Yang Hucheng" and "Exhibition of Historical Facts of the Xi'an Incident" are displayed respectively, and old scenes have been restored. Visitors can not only see the exhibition, but also visit the old site features such as bedrooms and reception rooms.

How to get there:

Bus route:

1. General Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall: Take bus 703 from the train station and get off at Zhiyuan Hotel; you can also take bus 10, 12, 28, 102, 103, 118, or 235 Road, 301, 301 section, 506, 606 and 702, get off at Lianhu Park and walk 160 meters towards Qingnian Road.

2. Zhang Xueliang Mansion: Route 7 or 702, get off at the Provincial Party Committee Guest House.

3. Five Halls: 5-101, 307 Road, 914 Road, 915 Road, You 5, get off at Huaqing Pool.

Self-driving route (from other provinces, take Lianhuo Expressway and Xi'an Ring Expressway to enter the city):

1. General Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall: take Lianhu Road in the city Or North Street, turn into Qingnian Road.

2. Zhang Xueliang Mansion: Take East Street in the city and turn into Jianguo Road.

3. Wujianting: Leave the Lianhuo Expressway from the Lintong/Xiekou/G108/G310 exit and drive along Shaanxi Gu Street → Huaqing Road.

Xi'an Incident ticket price:

Zhang Xueliang Residence, General Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall: Free

Five Halls (in Huaqing Pool): 80 yuan in low season (December 1st - February 29th of the following year), 80 yuan in peak season (March 1st - November 30th) ) 110 yuan.

Scenic area opening hours:

Five halls: 09:00-17:00

Zhang Xueliang Residence: 08:30~17:30 (invoices stop at 17:00)

General Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall: 09:00-17: 30

Travel Tips

travelling guideline:

Zhang Xueliang Residence issues a limited number of 800 visiting tickets every day, 500 tickets are issued before 14:00, and 300 tickets are issued before 17:00.
