Yuwang Cave is located in Xizhang Township, 20 kilometers southeast of Xinzhou City, with a total area of ​​about 110,000 acres. With King Yu Cave as the core, the park also has three major scenic spots: Treasure Bowl, Canglong Mountain and Cuiyan Mountain. There are a total of four floors, three halls and ten caves that can be visited in the cave, including the Flood Control Hall, Flood Control Hall, Flood Discharge Hall, Golden Turtle Cave, Fairy Cave, Crystal Cave, Bottomless Cave, Jiuqu Circulation Cave, Guanyin Cave, Pegasus Cave, Shihua Cave, Yixiantian, etc. At the foot of the mountain, there are also the ruins of Futian Temple and the wonder of "Dongyan Night Moon", and the passenger ropeway provides great convenience for tourists.

The tomb of Yuan Haowen, a poet from the Jin Dynasty, and Ye Shi Pavilion, the hometown of Diao Chan, one of the four beauties in ancient China, and Futian Temple are all located near the cave.

For hiking and camping enthusiasts, it is not recommended to spend the night on the top of the mountain. It is safer to camp in the parking lot of Yuwang Cave.

Tour route:

Travelers who like mountain climbing can choose a two-day tour of Yuwang Cave. It takes about 2 hours to go up the mountain along the trail taken by the locals; you can also go along the reservoir ravine in the mountain, which takes about 3 hours. You can reach the top of Yuwang Cave before dark. On a clear night, you can see the stars all over the sky; the next morning, you can watch the sunrise. Afterwards, visit Yuwang Cave. After the tour, go down the mountain along the road or the original road to Shuiyu Village for picking.

Bus route: At the station gate square of Xinzhou Railway Station, there is a dedicated shuttle bus to Yuwang Cave.

Self-driving route: Take Dayun Expressway in the direction of Taiyuan, exit from Doluo/G108 exit, and drive along G108 toward Xi Zhangxiang. Take Shengli Road in the direction of Xinzhou City → Xinyu Line, enter Z047 County Road, and pass Yaerkeng Village.
