Yangcheng Haihui Temple is a thousand-year-old temple bestowed by emperors of the Tang and Song Dynasties. It integrates Buddhist culture, academy culture, and forest garden culture. It is one of the main temples in Yangcheng County. The temple was founded in the Sui Dynasty and was already quite large in the Tang Dynasty. It was first named Guoyu Temple. In the first year of Qianning (894), Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty, he was granted the title of "Longquan Temple". Later, Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Guangyi, "pardoned and granted it the title of Haihui Temple". The Ming and Qing Dynasties were the heyday of the temple and it was famous. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery; nine-curved dragon springs, green water gurgling; towering twin towers, temples and pavilions, ancient buildings; ponds, lakes, waterfalls, and landscapes. It has always been a famous place in ancient Zezhou for sightseeing, leisure and summer vacation, chanting sutras and worshiping Buddha, and reading and teaching. The temple is located in the west of Daqiao Village, 15 kilometers northeast of Yangcheng County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province.
