The Shaanxi Hui Nationality Temple is the earliest mosque completed in Yining. It was first built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and took 20 years to complete. It was initially named "Ninggu Temple". The Yining Hui Nationality Temple is modeled after the Huajue Lane Mosque in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. It adopts typical traditional Chinese architecture and has an Arabic Islamic style. There is a mountain gate and a main gate in front, and there are double eight-character screen walls and gate towers on both sides. The temple has a worship hall as the main building, with halls, pavilions, and pavilions. The structure is rigorous, elegant and beautiful, the layout is elegant, and the momentum is magnificent. The worship hall is divided into an outer hall, a middle hall and an inner hall, with a total of 42 rooms, covering an area of ​​more than 600 square meters. There are rolling sheds and corridors at the front, rear and both sides of the hall, which can accommodate more than 1,000 people for worship. The three roofs of the main hall are connected structures. The inner hall is a 4-story octagonal pavilion-style building with a dome structure inside.
