Zeya Scenic Area is known as the "Western Wild Goose" in Wenzhou. It is a scenic area characterized by waterfalls, green pools, secluded gorges and strange rocks, and integrates the simple and wild mountain village style. The original name of Zeya is "Zhaixia", which is the transliteration of Wenzhou dialect. It was named after "Zhaixia" where the old town was originally located. The scenic area is endowed with unique cultural landscapes and has more than 230 scenic spots. It not only retains the oldest paper-making craftsmanship, one of China's "Four Great Inventions", but also retains quaint traditional customs such as "Zhou Ao lights up the lamp" on the 13th day of the first lunar month. Folk customs are a valuable tourist attraction.

It maintains the ancient stack of the post road leading to the capital in the Southern Song Dynasty, the ancient original papermaking workshop, and the three original scenic spots.
