Lake Wakatipu is New Zealand's third largest lake. It is shaped like lightning and has beautiful scenery. It is the center of New Zealand's outdoor activities. The world-famous bungee jumping first emerged from here. Lake Wakatipu is located in the central part of the South Island, at the eastern foot of the Southern Alps. It is a glacier-dammed lake.
