Every year on the first day of the Lunar New Year, the scenic spot holds special cultural and sports activities for fishermen, such as Nanyin singing, lantern riddle guessing, square dance performances, chess competitions, rice-carrying relay races, oyster prying competitions, and abalone classification competitions.

How to get there:
Bus route: There is a special bus from Quanzhou Automobile Center Station directly to the scenic spot every ten minutes.
Driving route: Drive along the Weitou Shugang Expressway for 26.5 kilometers, toward Jinjing/Weitou Port/S308, enter S308, then enter Jin'an Road and Renfu Road, and then go straight into the west Driving on the loop road, turn right and enter S308.
