Introduction to Tiyuan Hall: Tiyuan Hall was originally the back hall of Qixiang Palace. In the ninth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1859), this hall was changed into a cross hall with front and rear doors. The palace has a hard top with yellow glazed tiles, with 5 rooms in width, and 3 wing rooms in the east and west. The middle room is opened as a passage, connecting to the Changchun Palace. There are three Baoxia rooms at the back of the palace, with yellow glazed tile roofs, facing north, opposite the Changchun Palace. It is a small stage used for opera singing in the palace in the late Qing Dynasty, also known as the Changchun Palace stage. The palace now displays palace life in its original state.
