Introduction to folk houses: Herdsmen have fixed houses in the village, which are generally flat-roofed houses with civil structures. The house is not divided into rooms, and there are earth platforms built around it for sitting, lying and living. Use simple low earth huts on pastures. There are no windows on the four walls. Skylights on the roof provide light and ventilation. There are no partitions indoors, and the whole family, men, women, old and young, eat, drink and live in one room. The room is surrounded by earth platforms with felt blankets on them for sitting and sleeping. During the summer and autumn grazing seasons, a small number of herdsmen use yurts.
