Introduction to Masmak Fortress: Built in 1865, Masmak means "tall and thick building" in Arabic. The entire building is made of adobe, and the walls are very thick and strong. There are 18-meter-high watchtowers built on each corner. It is now a museum, which contains valuable historical photos and cultural relics from a hundred years ago.
