Palace introduction: Royal Palace, located on the Tonle Sap River on Prince Sotiro Avenue, is called the Four Arms Bay Grand Palace and was built from 1866 to 1870. The palace is rectangular, 435 meters long and 402 meters wide. It has a city wall outside and more than 20 buildings inside. There are more than 20 large and small palaces, including the Zengcharya Palace, the Golden Palace, the Silver Palace, the Dance and Music Palace, and the Treasure Palace. The corridors are imitated by the reliefs of Angkor Temple. The carved beams and painted pillars of the Zengcharya Hall and the glazed tile roof echo each other with the shining golden light of the Polemolokot Pagoda on the left, and the scenery is spectacular. There is a treasure hall in the Golden Palace, which is dedicated to displaying treasures. Among all the buildings in the palace, the Silver Palace is the most gorgeous, with the ground paved with more than 4,700 carved silver tiles. In the main hall, there is a Buddha statue about 60 centimeters high, carved from a whole piece of jade. It is crystal clear and is a treasure of Cambodia, so the Silver Palace is also called the Green Jade Temple. There are also two large and small Buddha statues made of pure gold in the Silver Palace.
