Introduction to the Eagle Statue: The Eagle Statue was built with more than 7 million won raised by student voluntary organizations. The unveiling ceremony was held on May 9, 1970, the 85th anniversary of the founding of the school. The total height of the statue is 12.3 meters, and the four-corner tower is 8.5 meters high. On the tower is an eagle made of 2.5 tons of bronze. The height of the eagle is 2.6 meters and the width is 5.2 meters. The original intention of the Student Association to build the statue is engraved on the back of the statue. On the four protruding parts, the images of Yonsei people who protect the history of Yonsei, protect Korean intelligence, and protect the truth and freedom of mankind are engraved.
