Introduction to Longshan Temple: The original site of Longshan Temple is located on Guishan Mountain connected to the First Mountain. The temple was first built in the first year of Kaixi of the Northern Song Dynasty. There are 500 Iron Arhats and many monks. The sound of the evening bell echoes in Between mountains and rivers. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Mi Fu came to visit and heard the evening bell. He wrote: The turtle peak towers high and connects the cloud tower, and the bell hits the moon and roars like an iron ox. Hearing all one hundred and eighty sounds thoroughly, he still doesn't know how to stop while walking at night.
The original Longshan Temple was destroyed by war in the late Yuan Dynasty. Now the Longshan Temple is rebuilt at a new location, and the distant midnight bell can be heard every night.
