Introduction to Nihewan Museum: The Nihewan Museum in Yangyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province was developed and constructed on the basis of the Nihewan Site Group. It is the only Paleolithic Age site in Hebei Province that focuses on the protection, collection and display. It will become a world archaeological research base together with Yunnan Yuanmou Man, Beijing Zhoukoudian and other national museums. The Nihewan Museum is divided into six exhibition areas: the emergence of Oriental humans, evidence of the origin of modern humans, great changes in human society, the cradle of Chinese civilization, and Nihewan in ancient times. It focuses on more than 50,000 cultural relics unearthed in Nihewan. It is on display and uses modern means such as sound, light and electricity to reproduce the historical situations of human production and life 2 million years ago.
