Introduction to the Hutouliang Site: The Hutouliang Site is located about 800 meters southeast of Hutouliang Village, Dongcheng Town, Yangyuan County. In 1972, it was established by Gaipei and Wei from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Strange discoveries and excavations. A large number of stone tools, mainly wedge-shaped stone cores and pointed tools, were excavated, and stove pits used by ancient people were also discovered. Subsequently, the Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics excavated the Yujiagou site and unearthed a sandy yellow-brown pottery sherd dating back 10,000 years ago. It is the only pottery sherd found in the Paleolithic strata, which is of great significance to the study of Paleolithic age. It is of great significance for the transition to the Neo-Ancient Age, the origin of agriculture, and the origin of the pottery industry. It was rated as one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in the country in 1998.
