Scenic spot introduction:
The Islamic Holy Tomb in Lingshan is the oldest and most complete Islamic holy site in my country. Historical records state that it is the tomb of the four sages of Muhammad who came to China to preach in the Wude period of the Tang Dynasty (618-626 AD). Located at the southern foot of Lingshan Mountain in Fengze District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, there are two existing tombs side by side. The tomb covers are carved from granite. Behind the tombs, a horseshoe-shaped corridor is built against the mountain, about 3 meters high. Several stone pillars in the corridor resemble the ribs of weaving cloth. Zi, which ancient architecture experts call prismatic columns, has typical architectural features of the Tang Dynasty. There are 5 stone tablets from past dynasties in the corridor. The stone pavilion on the tomb was rebuilt in 1962. There are also sarcophagus tombs of some Islamic believers from past dynasties around the tomb. On them are engraved the "cloud and moon" patterns commonly used in Islam or fragments of the Quran. It is a research object. An important historical relic of Quanzhou’s overseas transportation history and the spread of Islam.Attractions distribution:
