Introduction to Ilex holly: Ilex holly, also known as Mongolian yellow flower tree, holly, and Mongolian holly. Evergreen shrub, up to 2m tall, with a crown width of about 3m. Distributed in low mountain areas with an altitude of 1000 to 1200 meters in Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and Gansu. It is an evergreen super xerophytic plant. It likes gravelly soil, the seeds have strong water absorption and rapid germination. Flowers bloom in April and May, and fruits ripen in July. A very precious relict species in desert areas, it is listed as a national second-level protected plant.
