Introduction to Ning Encheng Library: The current building of Northeastern University Library was built and put into use in 1985. It covers an area of 21,000 square meters and has 118 staff members. In order to commemorate Mr. Ning Encheng, an old alumnus of Northeastern University and former president of Northeastern University, it was named Ning Encheng Library. The museum is clean and bright, full of books, noble and simple, not luxurious. The orientation of the building facing north and south makes it quite tense in the east-west direction, and has the grand momentum of embracing all rivers. If viewed from a high altitude, the library looks like an airplane ready to take off. This was also a very creative and novel shape at the time.
