Introduction to Dayao Cultural Site Introduction to the stone tablet: Dayao Paleolithic Site is a rare large-scale Paleolithic stone tool manufacturing site in my country. It was discovered in 1973. In January 1988, the State Council announced it as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Since its discovery, the site has been excavated many times and a large number of sites and relics from the early, middle, late Paleolithic and Neolithic ages have been discovered. Its late Paleolithic culture was named "Dayao Culture". The Quaternary strata of the site are comprehensively developed, especially the Quaternary bottom section in Sidaogou is more typical. The entire site is of great significance to exploring the origin and development of human culture in northern my country.
