Introduction to Wulong Temple: Located under the Bailongtan Dam, it was built in the Yuan Dynasty. Legend has it that a beautiful and kind little white dragon once lived here. One year there was a drought, the earth cracked, and the crops failed. Seeing all this, the little white dragon couldn't bear it, so he flew into the sky and made clouds and rain. From then on, the harvest was plentiful and people lived and worked in peace and contentment. In order to thank the little white dragon, people set up a tablet and statue for it here. They often come here to worship the dragon and pray for rain, and the incense continues. In the center of the newly renovated "Five Dragon Temple" hall, a small white dragon sits upright, accompanied by the dragon kings of the four seas. There is a tall stone archway in front of the temple, with the four characters "Shilin Shuifu" written on it. The stone tablets on both sides are poem tablets written by Qianlong and Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty. In the 19th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1754), there was a severe drought in Beijing. Qianlong sent people to Bailongtan to pray for rain, and there was a heavy rain the next day. Emperor Qianlong was very happy and allocated ten thousand gold to build the temple. It was completed the following year and a poem monument was also built.
