After getting off the high-speed train, the first thing I felt was the Yangzhou wind. It was not light, but it gave me a feeling of rubbing my ears and temples out of thin air. Unlike the salty and harsh sea breeze in the north, the wind here seems to have the smell of xylitol.

I have never had the experience of queuing for more than an hour for breakfast, but I actually experienced it in Yangzhou.

Do your homework before traveling. It is said that Yangzhou people make soup dumplings in the morning and take a bath in the evening. Therefore, a hearty morning tea is an essential item when you come to Yangzhou. .

For morning tea, crab roe soup dumplings, boiled dry shredded noodles and green poplar tea are indispensable. Yangzhou food is light yet delicious. The dishes and bowls are arranged on the table, which is very impressive. Take a sip of the soup dumplings with thick soup and look at the pool and sky outside the window. Your taste, smell, and vision are all well taken care of.

Yangzhou people are probably the ultimate lovers of carbohydrates. While walking through an ancient alley, I accidentally glanced into a house and immediately met my eyes with the aunt who was devouring steamed buns. The aunt was in a courtyard with wide open doors and windows, sitting on a bench with a bun in her hand, her eyes calm and calm, as if the visitor was not a tourist, but a soldier she was inspecting. This calm and unhurried attitude made me feel guilty and I immediately ran away.

People in the old city are not guarded, their homes are not closed, and they are left to watch, much like the courtyard houses in the 1970s. Being in the alley, it feels like traveling through time and space. The copper and iron walls of the high-rise buildings have been reduced to ashes. Only the lingering aroma of cooking shows the strong smell of fireworks in this old city.

The ancient city of Yangzhou has nothing more than four scenic spots: "Slender, Big, Big, and He" - namely Slender West Lake, Daming Temple, Ge Garden and He Garden. However, our first stop on our way to Yangzhou was “Pishi Street”, a popular spot for internet celebrities to check in.

A legendary must-drink jasmine yogurt is sold here. Along the way, you can always see three or two young people holding paper cups with yellow and green gradients, sipping contentedly, which shows how popular this product is.

In search of yogurt, we walked from the street to the end of the alley, and finally found a small shop with the sign "Yangda Milk" at the end of the long street. Unfortunately, the yogurt here has just been sold out, so you have to wait for half an hour before you can pick it up.

Regretfully, we walked out of the store and walked three or five steps back. Suddenly we saw a dozen people lining up not far away, and the store was selling the yogurt we couldn’t find. Then he was overjoyed and joined the queue. Normally, when I see people following the trend, I always sneer at it, but I never thought that such a day would happen to me!

Finally bought it and drank it immediately. The whole jasmine flower can be seen in the fruit, and the mouth is full of fragrant fragrance and unusual taste. But the most gratifying thing seems not to be the delicious taste of the yogurt, but the scene of squatting on a small bench and sucking it while watching people queuing up. Although it feels cramped, it also feels like a leisurely trip.

Slender West Lake contains the word "West Lake", so it is inevitable for people to compare it. In my opinion, the West Lake is like a rich imperial concubine, while the Slender West Lake is like a pure fairy who comes out of the world to paint and forgets the world after seeing it.

Although Slender West Lake is thin, it does not affect its length, so you will feel tired after traveling for a few hours. Even if he keeps talking in his mouth, it will not affect his belly at all. After eating the steamed buns, I feel sleepy.

I happened to be in a waterside pavilion, with a waterfall gushing out from the wall. Listening to the sound of the water, I fell asleep leaning against a pillar. In my dream, I didn’t know that I was a guest, and I didn’t notice the constant flow of people.

I woke up from the dream and walked, still not recovered. I watched the Yang-style bonsai while I was sleepy. The pine trees with different postures were set against the white wall, just like the paintings of literati, showing their character.

When I first entered Daming Temple, I saw white walls and black eaves, and the impression of Jianzhen's eastward journey made me mistakenly think of Japanese-style architecture. Later, I heard the tour guide explain that this is a Tang Dynasty building. It was originally built by Japan and learned from China, but it was not inherited from Japan here. The reversal of cause and effect makes me ashamed.

I still felt sleepy in the afternoon, and I made many mistakes again and again, which made me even more annoyed. The melodious bells under the Ling Pagoda could not cleanse away the anger, but instead made it more violent, making this visit quite unsatisfactory.

When I walked to the release pond, I noticed that my emotions were getting stronger and stronger, so I stopped and sat on a stone, watching the scenery and enjoying myself. Not long after, a foreign object entered the eye and the pain was unbearable, but it could not be removed until night. I just realized that I am at ease when there are no abnormalities, and I really shouldn’t be troubled for no reason.

On our last day in Yang, we stumbled into a quiet courtyard called "Wang's Xiaoyuan", which was the residence of a salt merchant who had declined in Wanqing. Compared with the prosperity of Ge and He Gardens, this place can be said to be "deserted and sparse in front of the gate". The light rain is falling, the alleys are deep, and the green bricks are asphalt, which is a special feeling in my heart.

In a deserted place, quietly watch a bowl of lotus blossoms. The purple petals are seductive and holy, dignified and mysterious. The owner of this deep house with few children is no longer a wealthy businessman who spends a lot of money, but is replaced by a water lily that is as charming as a siren.

Although it is good to be splendid and prosperous, and it is wonderful to have guests like clouds, in this pure place, you can enjoy the leisure, tranquility and wealth of sitting in a corner. Just like wanting to eat hawthorn cake after a full meal, or wanting to wear a green cloth shirt after a rich meal, it is both a rejuvenation and a cleansing.
