Review of Ali Ring Line (2)

Lian Po is out of breath, can he still eat?

After the first review, which had nothing to do with Alibaba, was written and posted, I immediately received feedback from fellow travelers. What Xiaokai said about the prodigal son was not from the bottom of his heart. Indeed, my original sentence was slightly more careful on the last word.

Some people even criticize me for writing like I am in a hurry and not taking my heart seriously. I admit that the latter part is indeed a bit careless, but it fits very well with my high-reaction state at that time. The main reason is that this elder brother who criticized me gave me a reward. For my sake, you and I have known each other for many years, so I don’t care.

Lunar Calendar Leap April 11th Gengzi Year of the Rat Renwu Month Xinsi Day

We started loading the car early on the 7th, and the four people's luggage, food and supplies, oxygen bottles, and other supplies were loaded into the car. When going out for self-driving, you must leave enough space for your equipment. In addition, you must sit comfortably and don't make do with it, otherwise you will be the most uncomfortable during the long distance. Put food and drink where they are most easily accessible. This is a good way to deal with boredom on the way. After all, chatting takes a lot of time. And when your mouth is tired, the best solution is to eat and drink. This shows that it is very important to protect your mouth when you go out. The above is just my opinion and has nothing to do with anyone.

This morning, Xiaokang, who lives in Lhasa, took us to have a Tibetan breakfast. After posting the picture, a friend said that he couldn’t eat Tibetan food at all and felt it had a strange taste. I smelled it and felt that it did have a smell, but it was still acceptable. Maybe it was because I hadn't eaten much during the high altitude sickness in the past two days, but now I felt better and felt hungry.

After dinner, we took a lot of fruits that Xiaokang bought for us and set off!

Gongga Xiazhulin Temple

This temple is located on a hillside by the Brahmaputra River.

Driving down the mountain, I looked at the temple from a distance. When I wanted to take a photo, I realized that I had missed a good angle.

On this trip, I seemed to be carrying only one-third of myself. After getting in the car, I forgot to hold the camera in my hand.

Strong sunshine, blue sky and white clouds, Brahmaputra River, one-third of me did not find a real sense of experience. It may be that the memory of fear brought to the body by the lack of oxygen has not faded.

I don’t know anything about Tibetan Buddhism, so when I was shooting I just went to see the scenes that interested me. According to a friend's introduction, Xia Zhulin Temple belongs to the Gelug Sect and the body of the Auspicious Heavenly Mother is enshrined here. I can't remember the rest, I just looked around and took pictures.

Here are three pictures. When shooting, we use frames to frame everything we want to take, and then use frames to frame these pictures and put them together. In such a world, there are different boxes, boxes with different proportions, and boxes with different edges. Probably, this world cannot escape from the frame. There are such tangible and qualitative frames, and there are also invisible and intangible frames.

I have seen a lot of scenery like the one in the picture in the past few years, and sometimes it lacks passion. It may also be due to lack of oxygen and a lack of excitement.

Someone took a picture of me, then they took a picture, and then they took a picture of the three of us.

Series of photos from our guide Murphy.

After singing folk songs, our next destination is Yamdrok Yumco.

First we watched from a distance, then we went to sit by the lake for a while. The altitude at this time is above 4,000 meters. After yesterday's infusion and oxygen inhalation, my physical condition today is pretty good. Lao Lu joked that I am suitable for areas with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. It seems that I am either at the bottom of the valley or at the top of the mountain, but I am not suitable for the mortal world.

Leave from the lake and go to a viewing platform.

Whenever you go to a scenic spot, you will always encounter a similar situation. There are yaks for people to ride on and take pictures with, as well as Tibetan mastiffs for group photos. The Tibetan Mastiff, wearing a red fur ornament around his neck, was lying on the ground listlessly, with a plastic basin in front of him containing some water. It's easy for me to feel depressed in such situations, probably because I feel sorry for the suffering of animals. I always feel that they are enslaved by humans, and the more I think about it, the sadder I feel.

If you can choose, you must have wings. There may be strong winds and rain, dark clouds and thunder and lightning, but it is still better than being enslaved and wearing a chain around your neck.

When the smoke dissipates, at the end of life, at least it can dissipate in the wind and blend into the wild sky.

We are going to Shigatse. After viewing Yamdrok Yumco, we have to continue on our way.

The weather on the plateau is unpredictable. We often see mountains in the distance shrouded in large clouds and rain, and we often travel through such clouds and rain.

Saffron advertisements can be seen everywhere, and the chicken signboards are all over the country. I can't tell where I am. Fortunately, the ramen prefixed with steam reminds me. When eating, I found that I brought less than a third of myself, because I had to stop chewing from time to time to take a breath, otherwise I couldn't continue eating.

Lian Po is out of breath, can he still eat?

Passing by the Karola Glacier, I took a look in the car, took photos, and continued on. At an altitude of 5,000, there really isn't much parking capacity.

When traveling in this way, you actually get off the car to take pictures, pee, etc. The difference probably depends on whether you want to sit in the car and take pictures along the way. I just sat in the car and took pictures all the way. What I could take depends on luck. Of course, in a place like Tibet, there are so many moments where you can press the shutter, so much that you can find a lot of duplicate or similar content when you sort it out later.

At this point, I wanted to be lazy, so I piled up a lot of pictures. Of course I originally wanted to share these pictures, so it was the right thing to do. Just to avoid monotony, I just type a few lines occasionally.

Lunar Calendar Leap April 12th Gengzi Year of the Rat Renwu Month Renwu Day

Looking back on the entire trip, Tashilhunpo Monastery was the most enjoyable place for me to take photos. Finally, I can move around relatively freely, without being fixed in the passenger seat, and without the various stains on the car glass. I asked a tour guide to explain the history and stories of this place, but I didn't follow. I just wanted to take pictures of what I saw.

On the fifteenth day of June in the Tibetan calendar, many Tibetans came to the temple. I followed the crowd and watched them circle around the White Tower. The tour guide said that you can go around once or three times, and you can also go around in circles according to your age. I always wanted to take some photos of cats, so I didn’t go around once. Lao Lu went around three times.

People before entering the temple will raise their hands to ring the bell, and adults will raise their children to let them ring. Photography is not allowed inside the temple, so I didn’t go in. I waited here to take some photos of people ringing the bell. In the end I chose this one, as the others were somewhat unsatisfactory. After taking the photo, I also found that my skills were a bit rusty after not using a DSLR for a long time, and my arms became sore after just holding it for a long time.

Along the way, the three of us were doing our own things. Lao Lu followed the tour guide and listened to the explanation. I didn't want to enter the temple, so we went separately. Xiaokai was busy making phone calls.

When we arrived at the appointed place, it started to rain not long after waiting. It was raining heavily and I had nowhere to go, so I hid on the porch and took pictures.

The reason why I feel so comfortable taking pictures in Tashilhunpo Monastery is probably because of the freedom to move around and the changeable weather. In contrast, sitting in a car is more like being isolated, but walking in it in person can feel the raindrops falling on your face and the breeze brought by people running by. When I write like this, what I imagine is a slowed down scene. We can only slow down. If we walk too fast, we will be out of breath.

At noon we rushed to Sakya for lunch. After dinner, Lao Lu and Murphy went to Sakya Monastery.

Last night I had very little sleep due to lack of oxygen. I was out of breath after lunch and it was really difficult to move my legs again. Xiaokai and I chose to stay in the car to rest and take each breath slowly.

Breathing, an innate thing, is magnified and highlighted here, and it becomes the thing that needs the most attention during this trip. And oxygen seems to have become tangible and qualitative, becoming an important material for us.

This day's itinerary has a lot of content. We left Sakya and planned to go to Everest Base Camp to watch the sunset. It all depends on luck.

Xielin Zangbo No. 2 Bridge, at the junction of Dingri County and Dingjie County

These signs with altitude numbers always remind me that sleeping in the car is impossible.

At the critical point between waking and sleeping, people are forced to wake up. It's like you stuck your face into a basin of water to hold your breath, but couldn't hold it in for a moment and raised your head.

After the distant view, we will go through this section of the road to the Everest Base Camp. Looking through Fat Friends, I posted one at 19:56, when we just drove on this road. I said it’s time to look at luck, but some friends think it’s time to look at character. The gap between these two items is too big. Fortunately, we saw the sunset on Mount Everest that day.

Facing the wind, looking at Mount Everest. Waiting for sunset, it’s so cold. Fortunately, I brought my down jacket and Murphy came up with an oxygen bottle. If I couldn't see the sunset, I guess when I look back, I would just put a picture like the one above and then say that we didn't see the sunset and go back to eat and sleep. .

That night, we stayed in a hotel run by Tibetans. As soon as I walked in, I sat down and took oxygen. Dinner is self-heating rice, canned lunch meat, fish, etc. There are many things that you seldom eat on a daily basis, and if you eat them once in a while, you will feel that they are just fine. But when it comes to times like this, you will feel that you are lucky to have them with you. Of course, you are most lucky if you carry an oxygen tank.

Looking through the diary of this day, I wrote behind the picture of self-heating rice: I have been out of breath these days. Many times, you are either full or tired and give up.
