In 1643, Tsarist Russian armed forces invaded Heilongjiang one after another, bringing huge disasters to the local people of all ethnic groups. The Qing government sent troops many times to work with local ethnic groups to expel foreign enemies and defend the territory. After years of negotiations by the Qing government, especially through the two Yaksa Wars, Tsarist Russia finally agreed to resolve the border dispute through negotiation.

In 1689, the first boundary treaty in the history of China and Russia, the Treaty of Nerchinsk, was signed, which legally clarified that the land south of the Xing'an Mountains and east to the sea was owned by China.

However, the signing of the Treaty of Nerchinsk did not make Tsarist Russia give up its plans for Heilongjiang, and subsequent tsarist dynasties tried to invade Heilongjiang again. In the second half of the 19th century, the Qing Dynasty had turned from prosperity to decline, was beset by internal and external difficulties, and was no longer able to defend itself and resist.

In 1858 and 1860, the Qing government was forced to sign the Treaty of Aihun and the Treaty of Beijing with Tsarist Russia. The two treaties caused China to lose 1 million square kilometers of land.

Engels: "Russia seized from China a territory equal to the size of France and Germany and a river as long as the Danube. "

Lao Maozi created the "Hailanpao" tragedy and massacred tens of thousands of unarmed pure Chinese people. I hope that history will not be forgotten and that it will never happen again...

When Tsarist Russia immigrated to Heilongjiang, supplies were scarce, so trade terms were forcibly written into the Treaty of Aihun. Trade between Daheihetun and Hailanpao on both sides of Heilongjiang was developed under this background.
