The Coal Mine Museum is located at No. 1, Guchengzi Street 1 Road, which is the original site of the west open-pit mine viewing platform. The museum covers an area of about 30,000 square meters and is divided into three scenic spots and one museum, namely: Fushun Coal Mine Museum, the large-scale equipment display square of the open-pit mine, the large statue of Mao Zedong and the western open-pit mine pit. Among them, the museum is divided into several parts: Wuhua Tianbao, Centenary Looking Back, Pearl of the Coal Sea, Black Gold and Ink Jade, and Watchtower. It uses 3D stereoscopic movies, phantom imaging technology, suspended stereoscopic imaging, etc. to enrich tourists' audio-visual experience; on the square , displaying a large number of historical vehicles and the "Top Ten" stone tablets. How to get there:
Bus route: Take No. 37, No. 501, No. 502, No. 503, No. 506, No. 802, No. 802 Vice Road, get off at Guchengzi Station, then walk 600 meters toward Guchengzi East Street or Meihai Road or take a taxi.
Self-driving route:
1. Take Yanbin Road in Fushun City, pass the Crescent Seven Star International Hotel, turn toward Dandong Road and enter the ancient city Hekou Bridge; after crossing the bridge, enter through Anze Street Take Guchengzi Road, drive towards the west open-air viewing platform, and go through Guchengzi 1st Road → Meihai Road to reach it.
2. Take the Shenyang-Ji Expressway in the direction of Shenyang and exit at Fushun West Exit at Gaowan Bridge; pass the North Ring Road, cross the Hunhe River Bridge, and turn onto Yanbin Road.
