How to get there:
Airplane: There are two airports in Chicago: O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport: the subway blue line at O'Hare International Airport leads to the city center for 50 minutes for US$1.50, and the Airport Express runs to the city center. Hotel and suburban fares are US$15, and you can get on the bus at the airport baggage claim area; at Midway International Airport, you can take the suburban train orange line to the city center for US$1.50, and the airport bus to the city center hotel is US$11.
Train: Chicago is the largest railroad center in the United States. Union Station is located in the city center between West Canal Street and Adams Street. Get off at the Elevated Tram (EL) Quincy Station and go west along Adams Street for three blocks to get there. Buses #1, #7, #60, and #151 pass by.
Long-distance bus: Greyhound bus station is at 630 W. Harrison Street, southwest of the city center. Get off at Clinton Station on the subway blue line and go south to Harrison Street. The station is open 24 hours a day and has buses to all parts of the country.
Bus: Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has 170 bus lines in downtown Chicago, basically covering all parts of the city.
