Scenic spot introduction:

Wuzhen Temple is the ancestral home of the Pure Land Sect, which is well-known at home and abroad. The temple is located at the northern foot of Zhongnan Mountain. It has steep rock cliffs, winding water, dense forests, flowing clouds and waterfalls. It has been known as the "Saint Place Immortal Residence" since ancient times. Wuzhen Temple is located in Lantian County, about 50 kilometers southeast of Xi'an City. It has a long history and its history can be traced back to before the Western Jin Dynasty. In the 14th year of Emperor Kaihuang's reign in the Sui Dynasty (AD 594), the eminent monk Jingye was ordered to build it and officially named it "Wuzhen Temple". At the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, it underwent expansion. The existing upper and lower Wuzhen Temples of Wuzhen Temple are national key cultural relics protection units.
