Introduction to the Royal Infantry Museum: The Royal Scots Regimental Museum is located opposite the Cavalry Museum. It is the oldest infantry of the British Army. It was founded during the reign of Charles I and has a history longer than that of Scotland. The Horse Guards are still a few decades older.
The 2nd Battalion of this regiment once participated in the "Battle of Culloden" that broke out in the Scottish Highlands. As mentioned earlier, the "Battle of Culloden" was the last land battle that took place in the UK.
