Introduction to Broken Earth: "Broken Earth" is the work of sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro. It was produced in 1990. There were two of them at the time, and the other one is now at the United Nations. The sculpture is shaped like a large ball within a small ball, and its cracked appearance symbolizes the incompleteness of the earth.
