On March 19, 1895, they shot their first film "Lumière's Factory Gate" in Lyon, and it was released in Paris in the same year - and the film went global. The street where the memorial is located was therefore named "Rue du ler Film" (First Film Street).
The Lumiere Memorial Hall has a total of twenty-one exhibition halls, occupying four floors, three above ground and one underground.
