Introduction to the Lumière Memorial Hall: The Lumière Memorial Hall (lnstitut Lumière) was renovated from the former residence of the Lumière brothers, the inventors of film and film projectors. I learned photography techniques in the photo studio I ran. On March 19, 1895, they shot their first film "Lumière's Factory Gate" in Lyon, and it was released in Paris in the same year - and the film went global. The street where the memorial is located was therefore named "Rue du ler Film" (First Film Street).
The Lumiere Memorial Hall has a total of twenty-one exhibition halls, occupying four floors, three above ground and one underground. In the exhibition hall, a projector played a loop of films shot by the Lumiere brothers. Displayed in the center of the hall are models of the Lumière factory, a model of the Grand Café de Paris when movies were first shown, and photographic guns before the invention of the camera. Around the exhibition hall, exhibits recording the invention of film are displayed.
