Introduction to Yan Xishan’s former residence: Yan Xishan’s former residence is located in Hebian Village, 22 kilometers northeast of Dingxiang County (originally part of Wutai County). It was built in the early 1920s and took 14 years to complete. The entire building complex faces east to west, with nearly 30 courtyards and more than 800 houses. The palace-style building in the courtyard is tall and majestic, and you can overlook the whole village from the tower. Yan Xishan's former residence is a masterpiece of antique architecture in the early years of the Republic of China and is of great historical value.
