Introduction to Kanjing Temple: Kanjing Temple is the largest cave in Dongshan, Longmen, with 29 arhats who impart the Dharma well preserved. The cave has a double-chamber structure. There are dozens of small niche statues on the cliff wall of the front chamber. The main chamber is 1170 cm deep, 1116 cm wide, and 825 cm high. It has a flat top, a square plane, four vertical walls, and evenly carved sculptures on the lower parts of the three walls. The 180-cm-long 29-legged Arhat ancestor (11 on the main wall and 9 on the two walls) is the most exquisite group of Arhats in the Tang Dynasty in China.
