Introduction to the Buddha statue: Ramoche Temple is the Chinese name. Small is corresponding to the Jokhang Temple; Zhao is the transliteration of the Tibetan word "Juewo", which means Buddha. The temple houses an eight-year-old life-size statue of Sakyamuni and numerous Buddha statues and thangkas. In 1962, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
