Introduction to the Sutra Hall: The Cuoqin Hall is the earliest building of Tashilhunpo Monastery. There is a 500-square-meter lecture hall in front of the temple, where the Panchen Lama lectured on sutras to all the monks in the temple and where the monks debated sutras. In addition to the Buddha statues enshrined in the hall, including Sakyamuni Buddha and his great disciples, the pillars on both sides are also engraved with the standing statues of Gendun Lord, the founder of the temple, and the fourth Panchen Lama. Surrounded by statues of Tsongkhapa, his disciples, and 80 eminent monks, etc.
