Introduction to the front building of the Medical Library: The front building of the Medical Library was built in 1916 and completed in 1918. It is a building with European classical architectural style. The building was first used as the medical school building at that time. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was used as the Guangzhou base camp for germ warfare by the Japanese invaders. After 1953, it has been used as a library until now. The building is now listed as the Guangzhou Patriotic Education Base, Guangzhou Cultural Relics Protection Unit, Guangzhou Classical Architecture and Historical Memorial Building.
