Introduction to the Zhongying Street History Museum: The Zhongying Street History Museum is located on the east side of the boundary monument at No. 1 Zhongying Street, Inner Ring Road, Shatoujiao Town. It is a thematic local history museum with a collection of more than a thousand modern historical relics, Folk cultural relics and more than a thousand precious photos.
There are 4 exhibition halls in the museum, namely: historical evolution and living customs, Donghe Market, British occupation, and "3.18" boundary demarcation; the third exhibition hall: Anti-Japanese national salvation, liberation, and border restricted areas; Four Exhibition Halls: Reform and Opening Up, Centennial Dreams and a Better Tomorrow. The "History of Chung Ying Street" exhibition in the museum, together with the eight boundary markers erected on Chung Ying Street, jointly tell people the history of humiliation when the "New Territories" were forcibly occupied by the British and the heroic and fearless struggle history of the people of Chung Ying Street during the Anti-Japanese War. and the history of changes in the vigorous development of Zhongying Street after liberation. The exhibition also shows the booming new look of Sino-British Street from the perspectives of reform and opening up, the construction of spiritual civilization, and Hong Kong's return to the motherland. The top floor of the museum is an observation deck, which offers a bird's-eye view of Mirs Bay and the natural scenery of Hong Kong's New Territories. In addition, the Zhongying Street History Museum is a patriotism education base in Guangdong Province.
