Introduction to the Jianzhen Memorial Hall: The Jianzhen Memorial Hall is the most distinctive building in the Daming Temple. It was built under the instructions of Premier Zhou Enlai in 1963 when China and Japan commemorated the 1,200th anniversary of Jianzhen’s death. The main hall of the memorial hall is modeled after the golden hall of Toshodai Temple built by Jianzhen in Japan. In the middle of the hall, there is a seated statue of Jianzhen that is modeled on the Jianzhen statue of Toshodai Temple in Nara, Japan. There is a copper incense burner in front of the seated statue, which was used by the Emperor of Japan. Gift. Opposite the foyer of the memorial hall was the Qingkong Pavilion, which is now an exhibition room for Jianzhen's life, cultural relics and historical materials.
