Yangzhou Daming Temple is famous because the famous monk Jianzhen preached scriptures and gave precepts here before he sailed to Japan. Daming Temple was named because it was first built during the Daming period of Emperor Xiaowu of Liu Song in the Southern Dynasties. It has been more than 1,540 years old and is a national cultural treasure with rich historical and cultural connotations, integrating Buddhist temples, cultural relics and gardens.

Daming Temple Ticket Price:

The off-season (December to February, July and August) is 30 yuan, and the peak season (March to June, September to November) is 45 yuan.
