Introduction to the Quanzhou Guild Hall: The Quanzhou Guild Hall began as a gathering place for Quanzhou people who were doing business in Suzhou at that time. Later, it gradually became a place for Quanzhou merchants to store, live and discuss business. The guild hall enshrines Buddha and Mazu, displays the costumes of Hui'an women, and often holds charity events, giving people clothing, and caring for orphans and widows. The Jinjiang Puppet Troupe from Quanzhou performed in the museum the Palm Puppetry, a representative of the Southern puppetry, Gaojia Opera, and Quanzhou Nanyin, known as the living fossil of music.
